Tagged: hover image
Hi, when I upload a second image in the product gallery that I choose to use as the hover image, the hover image is much higher than the main product image and it looks terrible.
Both images are the same aspect ratio, I have even tried resizing the hover image so that it’s the same size but doesn’t make a difference
The link below is to the product that I have changed the hover image on (it’s the middle image) and it doesn’t line up, it’s much higher than the main image, and you can see part of the main image underneath the hover image.
I’ve just realised the hover image is being cropped, how can I stop this happening?
Thanks
Hi jj_delaney,
I’m not really sure why that’s happening and it’s more of a woocommerce plugin issue.
Can you try to crop it manually using image editing software.
If that doesn’t help, can you give us temporary admin access, so we can check further.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi, thanks for your reply. I don’t want to crop the hover image, I want it to not to be cropped. The weird thing is that on some of the product images in the shop page, the hover image is now full size, the same as the product image, but on others it’s cropped. The images are all the same aspect ratio (eg 400×600).
Hi,
Did you figure this out? The product page or the hover image looks good.
Best regards,
Ismael
HI Ismael
Yes, thanks, I did finally!
Appearance > Customise > WooCommerce > Product Images
The Thumbnail cropping was set to 1:1
Kind regards
