    Hi
    I am using woocommerce in the default page and I would like to add text between the header and the start of the product grid. But being a category I cannot get into it to do it. Is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi Richard!

    You can add descriptions to your categories from Products>categories and then edit a category.

    Hi Devin,
    I have the same request, but see that this thread has been left hanging.
    I want to do the same thing, add text just before the product category grid, but keep the product category header and description. So, to clarify, I am using the product category header and added a description and caption, etc. But when the page is displayed I would also like to have a leading paragraph or two or three just before sorting options of the results.

    basically this needs a new WooCommerce function and that’s why it’s best to ask WooCommerce Support about it, as they know their plugin best.

    Hi!

    Locate the archive-product.php file inside the plugins > woocommerce > templates folder. Copy that file then place it inside the theme folder. Modify the file as you please.
