Hi,
We have upgraded the theme to the latest version and woocommerce to the latest version. When we first setup our shop with digital products, customers would purchase an ebook and then receive the purchase email with the downloadable link. This is no longer happening and there is no way to download the product. We also tested logging in to the customer account and checking the my account and clicking on the downloads tab. There is nothing there. The purchase shows completed in the woocommerce order area. It’s literally completed and there is no way to get the digital download. It used to work – the download link would come in the purchase complete email. We are not sure which update caused this to stop.
How do we fix this? We need this corrected asap for a sales conference tomorrow.
Thanks,

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the login details. Did you try disabling all other, non related plugins, to see if that makes any difference? Also, does it work as intended if you activate one of the default WordPress themes? If not, then please let us know exactly which settings and plugins are needed in order to reproduce the problem you are having. We can provide you with a live testing site as well, so that we both can access the installation.
In the future, I would strongly advice that you perform all updates on a staging site first. If you do that, then you will never risk introducing errors like these, on your live site.
Best regards,

I disabled all the plugins other than:
Woocommerce
Woocommerce paypal gateway
woocommerce shipping & tax
and the 4 Lifter LMS plugins.Ran another test – still not working.
I’ll run the next update on staging next time.

Thanks for the update, and sorry again for the late reply. Did you also try to activate a different theme? If the same thing happens when another theme is active, then the problem is most likely plugin related, rather than theme related.
Do you have a staging site already? If so, then please give us access to that as well. Also, which version of the theme were you running before this problem started happening? We can help you to roll back to that version, so that your live site will work as intended. After that, then we can update and debug the problem on the staging site, or on our test site.
Best regards,
Rikard -
