You need to have WooCommerce installed for that shortcode to work. Do you have it?

Here is a thread for you to consider
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41036540/woocommerce-add-to-cart-short-code-not-workingIf it is not a product and you’re not stating the product id or sku, it will not work.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

VictoriaSeptember 10, 2018 at 12:10 pm #1007863Hi,
thanks that worked.
But when I click on the “add to cart” button there appears the product site of the product – only with a picture and again with “add to cart” button. And only if I click this button it gets added to cart. Do you know how I can prevent that the product page opens up and that customers have to do this “double cllck”?Thanks
September 11, 2018 at 2:51 pm #1008420Hi,
I did a quick test on my website and the add to cart button normally doesn’t link to another page.
Please make sure your shortcode looks like:
[add_to_cart id="99"]
(of course the product id can be different). If the shortcode doesn’t work properly on a certain page please create us an admin account and send us a link to the page – we’ll look into it.
Best regards,
Peter -
