Hi guys
I’ve had to add some custom widgets to a menu however I do not want them to appear on the individual product pages as they are doing now . Is there a way to accomplish this?I would also like to remove the sorting options above the subcategories on the main shop page if possible?
Cheers
Rhys-

August 5, 2015 at 4:53 pm #483485Hi!
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “adding widgets to a menu”.
But if you do not want those specific widgets to display on your product post then you’ll need to move them from “Displayed Everywhere” into “Sidebar Blog” or a different widget area.

ElliottAugust 6, 2015 at 7:14 am #483689Unfortunately that is the only widget area that shows them on the left in the menu! Unfortunantly it is also forcing them on single product pages. I tried all of the other widget options before asking for help
Displayed everywhere: Shows all three in menu
Sidebar blog: Shows nowhere
Sidebar pages: Shows nowhere
Shop overview page:They don’t show anywhere
Single product pages: Newsletter and image show ONLY in single product pages no search anywhere
Cheers

I’m not sure what you mean by “widgets showing on the left in the menu”. By default the widgets do not display in any menus.
Go ahead and take a screenshot and highlight what is going on so we can get a better idea.
Cheers!

Alrighty I see now. What you’ll want to do is create a new widget area to use and then drag those widgets from the “Displayed Everywhere” widget area to the new widget area you created.
Next navigate to Dashboard > Enfold > General Layout and near the bottom you’ll see an option called “Main Menu Sidebar” where you can select the new widget area you created.
