Hi,

I get this error when i try to go to sync wp menu’s.

I have the classics editor enabled in the theme settings.

There is also another thing with WPML language selector that shows up twice in the main menu

I work on an offline copy of the website so on pittcooking.com you can’t see what I describe
The IP for the testing environment is in the private content

Can you try to switch to PHP version 7.3? some users seems to have issues fixed reverting to this PHP version.

I fixed the language switcher issue in the style.css

Hi PITT,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
3. Click ” Create New “.
4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
  ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
5. Click ” Submit “.
6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

Also please provide us with FTP access.

Hi Nikko,

The url for login is in the private section
Please notice I’m working on a copy of the website on another server.
I provided the IP also

The language that I’m working on for the restyling is Dutch/Nederlands.
There I changed the wp-menu items in footer 1.
When I try to sync the menu’s the error comes up

Hi Nikko,

My guess is that you are trying to use the login on the live website.
The site is copied to another server by me for restyling.
That server is the IP address i provided you.
To check if you look at the live website or the one I’m working on is simple. The live site has a dark layout, the new one is light.

If you use this IP to point your computer to when you open pittcooking.com you will see the site I’m working on and where you have an account.
I double checked the login credentials and they are working fine for me (see screenshot)

I apologize for the delayed response since I got some issues on my end.

I’m not really sure about the procedure you’re taking for this instruction Server IP for the host file on your computer. I think I’m missing some steps.
If I go to the IP itself it would show this:

```
Can you give us steps or maybe an article we can follow?

Hi Nikko,

Do you see the page with a full screen foto slider on the site url pittcooking.com?
I’ve asked someone else from outside my domain to try and will keep you posted on this.

One thing is that you have to accept the certificate by hand! It is a self written one for development purposes. Maybe that helps.

Hi Nikko,

We tested and it works fine.
Perhaps something is wrong in your host file. Could you show me the contents?
If you ping the domain after activating the IP in your host file, do you get the right IP back via ping?

This is support the other way around at the moment, which confuses me.
If you don’t succeed I’d like you to pass the issue through. As my client expect results (from me).
I’m not getting the feeling we can work this out in the way you handle things and the progress of my work is held up by this.

Looking forward to solving this as soon as possible.

Hey,

Could you please try updating enfold\config-gutenberg\class-avia-gutenberg.php with this one https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_7_4/config-gutenberg/class-avia-gutenberg.php in Editor > Appearance and check if that helps?

Also, it would be great if you could set up a testing site and provide us the logins as we only connect to sites that are publicly accessible. Thanks!

We will include a patch for this error in the next release. For now, you can use the fix provided in the following thread.

Hi,

The fix did not work for the site I’m working on.
I now disabled classic editor in the settings, so the block editor is used.
Then the sync works without the error.

The thing is I’d rather not use the block editor as I think it’s is confusing for my client at the moment.
But that’s not your problem ;-)

Hi,

That’s odd. The error should not occur when the classic editor is active because the class-avia-gutenberg.php will only load when Gutenberg or the block editor is enabled. So it’s quite odd that it suddenly works now when you enabled the block editor.
