Hello,
I’m using Enfold and WishList Member since a while and all was fine – now I updated to the latest version of :
WordPress, Enfold and WishList Member and now we have a lot of bugs and unprotected pages, featured articles who do not come up… etc.I can see that there were others as well who had the same problems – please give me the latest informations on what to do, as we are in big trouble now.
Please not that we’re NOT using the Aviva Layout builder on the articles itself.
Thank you in advance for your quick reply,
Best, AB
October 18, 2015 at 8:59 am #520557Hi anma,
Not exactly sure what’s going wrong there, could you try to explain a bit further please? Screenshots of your issues might help us understand better as well. Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.
Thanks,
RikardOctober 19, 2015 at 8:28 pm #521174Hi Rikard,
Thank you for your reply! I try to be concret:
1 – the articles of the summary page (themes / Explorez par theme) do not come up anymore >
http://test.anmadesign.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/odc-noarticles.png2 – Articles in categories: (Par catégories) there are only articles with a featured image and the the “more” link (Lire la suite) does not work, here we usually had all the articles listed from a category
http://test.anmadesign.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/odc-category.png3 – The widget “most recent articles” does not show the latest items
http://test.anmadesign.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/recent-articles.png4 – but if I’m logged in the most recent articles are there
http://test.anmadesign.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/logged-in.pngThe site is also very slow, although we upgraded 3 days ago the hosting level to a better one – no impact.
Thank you in advance,
AB

October 21, 2015 at 7:33 pm #522459Hi!
you have used WP Super Cache plugin. Activate this plugin again, go into it’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Afterwards deactivate this and all other plugins. Then clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times. Let us know if you get a better result this way.
Are we allowed to deactivate your plugins temporarily by ourselves? If this does not work try to delete all theme files via FTP and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account, because there might be some corrupted theme files on your installation.

AndyOctober 23, 2015 at 9:28 am #523533Hello,
Thank you for looking into it.
First I did ALL what you mentioned but without any result.
Finally we went back to more than 1 week ago / we did a restitution of the site to the day before I installed” WP Super Cache” – but the problem is persistent and now it becomes urgent.
Thus we still can’t see the featured articles of a categorie like before which is the most important functionnality as the summary article pages (with title, extract and “more”) were the best teaser to attract visitors and to let them subscripe. We don’t get subscriptions anymore.

October 26, 2015 at 9:41 am #524748Hey!
I just flushed the permalink settings and the articles are now displaying. Check it here: http://outilsducoach.com/fiches-travail/
EDIT: I can see the articles if I logged in to the site. Did you set the articles or archive page to be visible only for logged in members? I’m not familiar with the wish member plugin settings but are there any settings where you can prevent users from accessing a specific page? Please contact the plugin author for more info.

IsmaelOctober 26, 2015 at 9:56 am #524752Hi!
Also, it doesn’t show because the post inside the categories are protected. This one for example:

IsmaelOctober 26, 2015 at 11:03 am #524787Hello Ismael,
We did not change our settings (nor the theme settings nor the WishLIstmember plugin settings), we just updated the theme and WordPress and all changed (it was an Enfoldversion from 2 or 1’5 years ago).
Before: a user which was NOT LOGGED IN at all could see all featured articles on the summary pages – with “show articles of a certain blog category).
We had a long list of articles with > title, extract and the “read more” link, then when a user who was not logged in clicked more link, he got the message that he has no access rights and that he needs to subscribe to a certain level.
What do you mean by “I just flushed the permalink settings” ??

October 26, 2015 at 11:57 am #524807Hi Ismael,
We got it, all is fine again, there was 1 core setting changed, I don’t know who did it, but now its working again.
>> Only show content for each membership level: was set to “no” it must be “yes” – ouff !
Sorry, and thank you so much for looking into it, you’re a great support team.
Best, Andrea
