Width of list for parent/child portfolio categories

No Im still stuck but have a better understanding as to what is happening.

This is a coin collection that has approx 350 coins (Much more to be added in different countries). They are imported as portfolio entries then tagged by The Tyrants of the Thames AND then the rulers (69 of them). I have since made them all primary categories not parent/child categories of this makes a difference.

I think this is the problem…
The portfolio grid has a max post number of 100 I have 335 items that need to go into this section. So on the first page its taking all the rulers on that page and not all of the items, so its only listing those rulers that are on that page (100 items). If you go to the second page some come off and others get put back on. Is it possible to extend that max post number to more than the 100 limit? This would alleviate my problem.
