Widgets Issue – Erroneous Columns – I have upgraded Enfold to 4.8.8

I originally tried to create my Footer Widgets, but it was in a new Block Mode design that I was unfamiliar with. I checked the forum and saw where they suggested we update the theme (my case to 4.8.8) because there was a fix.
I edited Column 1 & 2 with my content, however, I see two other columns (CATEGORIES & ARCHIVE) with content that I never added. I have checked Footer – colum3 & column4, but there is nothing there. I have also checked: Displayed Everywhere, Sidebar Blog, Sidebar Pages, Shop Overview Page, Single Product Page, but they are all empty.

Any suggestions on how I can remove these Footer – Columns? Thank you.

UPDATE: I located the fix in the Footer Section of the Enfold Documentation . . .
Remove default widgets

When you install the theme you will notice that the footer has default widgets. To remove these widgets simply drop a blank text widget or any widget of your choice in the footer widget area from Appearance > Widgets
