    Hi
    The widget contents have been stripped out of 21 Enfold Custom Widget Areas on my site! The footer also went.

    I can only assume it was a WordPress auto-update that caused it. This is a major problem at the moment as there
    are some important customized code in each separate widget which is bespoke for each individual page.

    I have a site back-up which will contain the lost widget code but not sure of the process to re-establish the sidebars?

    ENFOLD is at 3.07 (been frightened to update as I read some people having problems)
    WORDPRESS is at 4.2.2

    Can you point me in a direction please?

    Hey brianwelsh!

    Please load the backup and firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.1.5 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
    then update WordPress to version 4.2.2. Starting from WordPress 4.2, widget areas require unique ID’s and Enfold 3.1.4 & 3.1.5 provides it.
