    Hi – I am running the latest version of WordPress 4.5 and Enfold 3.5.4 – all plug ins are deactivated and I am not able to change anything under APPEARANCES – CUSTOMIZE ( only site name shows up) or USE ANY WIDGETS ( I can’t drag and add or delete). I added the bit of code in the functions.php that you noted – but it didn’t do anything. When I change themes these items begin working again. Site name is below.

    Hi,

    I’m able to make changes and save it without any issue and the site looks good on my end. You may not see the changes until the cached files are cleared in your browser.

    Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.

    Hi Vinay – Thanks for the help! I have cleared my cache in both Safari and Chrome and I am still not able to get the customize function or widgets to work. I then tried logging onto another computer that I have never used and logged onto this site and unfortunately I was still not able to get these working. Would you have any other suggestions?

    Our customizer does not include so many things ( like adding widgets ),
    If you go Under Customizer then Site Identity, do you see the things that Vinay has provided a screenshot at?

    No I can’t see the standard items under customize and I also can’t add any widgets through the Widgets function. When I change themes I can see them, but when I change back they don’t work. Thanks!

    Hi,

    The theme does not utilize the Customizer panel that much so you have to work in the Enfold > Theme Options or use the advance layout builder to create the content. Anyway, we tried to add a text widget in the first footer column via the Customizer and it worked.
