Hi,
In order to replace WooCommerce’s standard shop page, I’ve created a new shop page with a Product Grid. Sidebar Settings: Left Sidebar, Shop Overview Page.
In the sidebar I want to display custom attributes. So in Widgets, for Shop Overview Page I have added the WooCommerce Layered Nav widget (plus some other widgets).
On the Avia Shop page, all the widgets display fine, but NOT the WooCommerce Layered Nav.
(I’ve tested it on WooCommerce’s standard shop page, and it works fine there).I’ve tried it with the default editor instead of the Advanced Layout Builder, putting in the following code:
[av_productgrid columns='3' items='9' offset='0' sort='dropdown' paginate='yes']
Still: No WooCommerce Layered Nav widget visible.
Can you please advise?

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardAugust 28, 2015 at 10:55 am #494744Unfortunately, the site is not online yet – working on a local setup via MAMP.
But the error should be easy to replicate for you:
I have no other woocommerce plugins installed, no custom css, not modified any of the files etc… so “straight out of the box” Enfold + WooCommerce.Appearance > Widgets: I added the “WooCommerce Layered Nav” widget to the sidebar.
Then I took the “Shop” page that woocommerce installs and chose a layout with sidebar. Works fine.
Then I duplicated the original “Shop” page and added a Product Grid to it. (as described in Option 1 here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-woocommerce-shop-overview/)
The result: The “WooCommerce Layered Nav” does not show up. (Other sidebar elements work fine, but not the “Layered Nav” widget).August 29, 2015 at 8:00 am #495199Hi!
The Woocommerce Layered Nav and Filter widgets will only work for the base shop page. Unfortunately, it’s not going to work for custom shop pages.
Cheers!
IsmaelAugust 30, 2015 at 11:44 am #495442Thanks for letting me know – I’ll try to find a way around it with the base shop page.
Question, though: In theory, is this possible to change maybe with a future Enfold update? Or is this down to the WooCommerce implementation, i.e.: Are your hands tied on this one?
(Like I said: “in theory”… this is not a feature request as such).September 1, 2015 at 9:39 am #496328Hey!
If you check the class-wc-widget-layered-nav.php file, you’ll see that the developer added a few conditional functions which limits the display of the widget to certain pages (example: a custom taxonomy archive page or archive page of “product” post type). I think it will help if you contact the plugin developer for more info.

October 8, 2016 at 5:57 am #696803Hi!
The Woocommerce Layered Nav and Filter widgets will only work for the base shop page. Unfortunately, it’s not going to work for custom shop pages.
Did you set this page as base shop page?
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 18, 2016 at 12:32 pm #700598Hi Ismael
You say The Woocommerce Layered Nav and Filter widgets will only work for the base shop page. Do you mean the Shop overview page? Sorry, I am a bit confused. I have tried the Layered Nav and Filter on Sidebar Blog, Sidebar page, Shop overvie page, single product page but I just cant get it to work
October 20, 2016 at 5:27 am #701630Hey!
Yes, it will work for the the page set in the Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display >Shop Page option. Those widgets will not work anywhere else.

November 2, 2016 at 4:12 pm #707196Hi,
you did not select a shop page. Do it inside Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display >Shop Page option. Those widgets will not work anywhere else, but in this page.
By the way: Please update the theme to the latest version.
