    Hi,

I’ve installed WPML with Enfold, but I have trouble with Enfold “Latest News” widget. In the Dutch site, I want to display the category of ‘Nieuws’, which shows the Dutch newsfeed. In the English version of the site, I want to show category ‘news’ with the English news posts.

This is not working, it shows a blank feed in the English page if I choose a Dutch category, and the other way around if I choose an English feed. How can I solve this?

    Hey boemedia,

Please refer to this post – https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-widgets/. You can also try using a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/

    Best regards,

This is not helping me at al. There seems to be a conflict with the content of the Latest post widget provided by Enfold. Please consider looking at my question again.

    Kind regards,
    Monique

    Hi!

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately so we can look into it?

    Cheers!

    Hi!

Login credentials are not working for me. Can you please check them once again?

    Cheers!

    Hi!

I see the issue, only either one of these show. I still think you can solve the issue by using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/. You can add the widget twice and insert conditional tags to display one on one language and vice versa

    HI Yigit,

THanks, I’ll try and use the plugin, but I have this problem on all my Enfold sites (and that’s al lot…), and can’t remember it being a problem last year. I noticed it a few months ago. Don’t you think it’s a bug?

This is the first time this issue has been reported in a few months so I have to say that’s a negative. Did you translate the categories or taxonomies? https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-post-categories-and-custom-taxonomies/

    Best regards,
