    I own a full license of Layerslider and it comes with a variety of demo sliders. When I try to import any of them into Layerslider while Enfold is active, the import process craps out and gives me a 404 error. But if I switch the theme to Twenty Twelve, for example, and load the Layerslider plugin, I can import the demo sliders. Then when I unload the plugin and switch back to the Enfold theme, the demo sliders are loaded.

    What about Enfold prevents Layerslider from importing sliders that come with the plugin?

    Hey!

    Try adding this at the very end of your theme / child theme functions.php file:

    add_theme_supports('deactivate_layerslider');

    This doesn’t help me because I don’t want to have to buy a license of Layerslider for my Enfold sites. I want to figure out how to make the demo imports work on Enfold with the Layerslider plugin that’s included.

    Unfortunately there is no other way around this, because the bundled version of LayerSlider doesn’t include the LS demo sliders.
