    Hi – This has happened a few times lately. I don’t understand. A photo is there and then it shows up as a broken link.

    Why might this happen? I refresh the page a few times, but it’s not showing up. I hadn’t made any changes to the page or my photo library.

    Hi dominiquehurley!

    Please make sure that wp-content/uploads folder has correct permissions ( 755 ) – http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
    If that does not help, please try de-activating all active plugins

    Thanks Yigit – I’m afraid that’s way above my technical knowledge.

    About the de-activating all active plugins, I was told to do this before for something else. I know how to de-activate, but then they won’t be working (security and others I need). What do you do once you de-activate? I need step by step if you have a link for that too please.

    What are FTP credentials? Is that the password? I’ll include in Private Content

    Hey!

    You can contact your hosting provider and ask your FTP credentials if you do not know them. They are needed to connect to your server using a FTP client
