Hey guys,
Ever since the latest update, if I try to put whitespace above an image Firefox doesn’t render the image below it but rather to the right of the whitespace. Is there a fix for this?
Many thanks,
Jonathan
Hi jgoldberg1983!
Can you give us a link to the page with the issue? We need to inspect. What version of Firefox are you testing it with? What OS?
Cheers!
Ismael
I removed the whitespace as it didn’t look good at all, sorry. I would like to add back in though. Was testing with OSX 10.8.5 on FF 19.0.2.
In another thread, Devin responded “FF seems to have an issue with the HR element floating and the image under it not.” Just didn’t get anywhere as there were a few issues in that one thread, so I broke them out into separate ones. Thanks for your help with this and the others Ismael.
You mentioned in the other thread that I can insert the below:
.flex_column.av_one_half.avia-builder-el-29.el_after_av_one_half {
margin-top: 20px;
}
What does this do? How does it know to only add whitespace above that one image? Will this affect anything else?
Hey!
The Advance Layout Builder add unique selectors to each avia elements. The selectors maybe duplicated on other pages. Can you give me a link to the other thread where you want to add a white space on a section? A link to your site will help.
Cheers!
Ismael
A fix for another problem in Firefox cleared up this issue as well. Can be seen here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/firefox-image-placement/#post-171789
Thanks for your help and feel free to close.
