Hi, im hoping that you can help me out…
I’ve just updated to the latest version of Enfold. The message after installation was ‘installed successfully’ then a fatal error message below.
Ever since all my pages with the exception of the home screen are showing white/blank. I haven’t been able to access the backend and only had access via cpanel.
So far i have tried the following as a result of looking through other threads but none have worked:
1) Changing the Enfold theme name to Enfold1 in the hope it would give me backend access
2) Download the latest update and install manually via cpanel (This stops installation after 20%)Im using a child theme but am new to this especially resolving such issues
Please can you help me out with this. website is in the private content
Thanks
Matt

i have managed to upload the latest Enfold version via FTP however im still getting the white screens on all pages and still cant login to the back end.
i have contacted our host company and the latest php version they can currently supply is the one im using (5.4.45) they are upgrading but wont be till next month.
Can you send me a Enfold version which is compatible with PHP 5.4.45 and ill try that?
Have you any other ideas if this doesn’t work?
Thanks for your help Matt

Jordan ShannonAugust 31, 2017 at 6:00 pm #846428Hi Jordan
This is what i get when i try to install via cpanel:
themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip
100%
The file you uploaded, themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip, contains a virus so the upload was canceled: Zen.BlockedArchive.JS.UNOFFICIAL FOUNDif i try to upload just the Enfold folder and not the Zip it stops after 20% saying unknown error.
If i install via ftp it transfers all the files successfully, however nothing changes i still get a white screen where all my pages should be and as i cant access the wordpress dash board i cant upload it that way.
im really struggling, what would you suggest?
Thanks Matt
August 31, 2017 at 10:54 pm #846556Hi,
There should be no virus at all in any of the folders. Please download a fresh copy of the theme from your ThemeForest account and attempt to upload that.

I have resolved the issue now and all seems to be working ok. Updating originally via the dashboard caused my website to only show blank/white pages and prevented access to the dashboard. i uploaded the theme via ftp and then as i named it differently and couldn’t access the dashboard i had to change the Active theme in the database through cpanel, once i had done this i could then access the dashboard and tweek a few things on the theme.
All sees to be working fine, so thanks for you help.
Cheers Matt
