I also get a white screen after updating Enfold to 4.2.6.

    I did all the usual,

    Debug tot true
    Plugins deactivated
other theme (That does work but is not what I want)
    Cache browser empty

Nothing works, I can get in My dashboard though.

Please help, and also another question… could you tell me were to download version 4.2.4 ?

    Hey AstridHaveman,
I see your webhost has PHP v5.4 installed, please ask to have PHP v7 installed.
The link to v4.2.4 is in the Private Content area.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

That’s a very simple way of putting it. To change the server PHP I have to move my website to a new server, which takes ton’s of time.

Can you help me reinstalling Enfold version 4.2.4 I did not get your message on the private content area, your link isn’t working. I re-install the old version and will wait for an update of Enfold that does work.
    Thanks
    Astrid

    Hi Astrid,

I have replaced header.php file that our devs adjusted to make the theme backwards compatible with older PHP versions. Please review your website :)

    Hi Yigit,

It did the trick for 5 minutes,…now I can not get into my dashboard. Something else you can adjust?

    Hi Someone,

Can anybody help. Your help up till now, has made things worse
The change of the header made my dashboard also unavailable. And gave 5 minutes of online vision on the website, but got blank again after 5 minutes or so.

I reinstalled theme enfold 4.2.4 in my back up theme map and afterwards reinstalled a back up of my wp maps, without wp.content and wp config.php.

Now I still get 2 blanks online and in Dashboard. This was not helping …..

    Hi,
I have re-uploaded Enfold v4.2.4 for you and your site is back online. Please check that everything is in order.
So it seems that the header.php solution to make the theme backwards compatible with older PHP versions didn’t work for you for some reason.
I was wondering why you said that you would need to move your site to a new server to update your PHP version? Typically a webhost can easily change a setting to enable this for you, did your webhost tell you this was not an option?

    Best regards,
    Mike
