    Am having trouble installing and activating the Enfold theme.

    1/ When installing via Appearance > Themes > ‘Add New’ the install times out with following error: The link you followed has expired. Please try again.

    2/ When installing via cPanel into folder wp-content/themes, I can see the theme installed via Appearance > Themes and when I activate the theme it loads up a white page (blank page). From here I can not access wp-admin either.

    I have tried this with both worpress 5.0.3 and the latest 5.1.

    I have also read through the install documentation and do not believe I am missing an steps.

    Hey amuheat,

    Do you know which version of PHP you are running on the site? We recommend that you use 7.1 or higher.

    HI,
    Same problem here: http://www.nestorortiz.es. After updating my WordPress version and enfold theme, I got a white screen just after the activation of my enfold theme. The only thing I can do to enter my dashboard again is to desactive my enfold theme…

    I’ve checked my PHP version on my hosting services and I was using 5.0 after it changed to the 7.3. it worked.

    Problem solved! thank you.
