Hi,
thank you for your support and your excellent product. At the moment I struggle about picture sizes being used …
I created my pages and more than happy with the result (www.uwehofstaetter.de). Now I would like to create additional pages and copied existing parts (fine sofar).
Now I want to replace existing pictures with others, but I do not know which picture sizes I used. I know the sizes of the orignial pictures but by uploading quite same addintional sizes where stored on the server. I would like to use the very same picture sizes out of the one being created automatically. So how can I see if I e.g. took 300*200 or 495*400 or large or … or … any other of the automatically created ones shown in the dropdown box.
I certainly can select a new picture and try all sizes, but I´m sure there is a better way to figure out which is the picture size I usedthank you for your help.

I think that will be difficult to see unless you look at the actual code of your site, if you have used the default WordPress functionality then you will most likely see it if you view the height and width or the image in the text tab of your editor.

RikardJune 26, 2016 at 12:31 pm #653534Hi Rikard,
thank you for your response. I did not use a textbox within the page. I used a 1/5 Grid and added a photo. While doing this I got asked which size I would like to have the photo. Unfortunately I do not remember which one I use from the given formats of the photo. Therefor I try to figure out – without try and error – to see which picture size did I choose to ensure I do the very same with other pictures in the same kind of grig.
Best regards,

On what page are you using the 1/5 elements? I couldn’t see any on your front page, please post the direct link so we can have a closer look.

June 30, 2016 at 4:28 am #655063Hi,
Search for the standard screen resolution used nowadays (ex: 1920x1080px, 1600x900px). Divide the width of the resolution by 5. So 1920 divided by 5 is more or less 380px. You can use images close to that dimension or twice the size for retina displays. You can also set the Background Repeat settings to “Stretch to Fit” which will force the image to cover the entire container.
Best regards,
