Tagged: custom page, enfold
Hi I would like a suggestion from you. In need to include in my web site a page that is completely customized as it must present an OpenLayers3 map. To test the functionality of the map, I created a test html base page which loads specific css files and javascript files (which include either pure javascript and some jquery).
I am wondering which is the best way to transform it for enfold. Should I realize a template custom page with the html? In this case how can I include the css ? i don’t want to include them in the header as they are needed only for this page. No problem for the javascript, as these can be included in the body.
Alternatively should I include a sort of “static page” completely independent from the rest? In this case how can include the header and the footer?
In future I hope to create a plugin in order to upload geojson files directly from the administration panel, but since I am a bt in the hurry for this work, I’d like to find the easiest and most performant way to achieve my results.
thanks in advance
Hi Elena!
Thank you for using Enfold.
I’m sorry but I haven’t tried the API personally. However, creating a custom template or a custom shortcode with all the dependencies (scripts, stylesheets etc) should do, either way is good. It’s just a question on what direction you’re most comfortable with.
Best regards,
Ismael
