Hi, I’ve installed Enfold and imported the Restaurant demo. At the frontend I see a lot of items at the menu page. However, in the backend the catalogue does not seem to work:
– When I click a catalogue element on an existing menu page, it seems to be empty
– I don’t see in the admin sidebar or toolbar where (and how) I can add catalogue itemsSo don’t have any idea how to get this thing going…
Do I need to install WooCommerce?

October 3, 2017 at 3:05 pm #859660Hmm, thinking back to the day I imported the demo content, I guess I deactivated and uninstalled/removed WooCommerce, since I thought there was no need to have a webshop at the site.
But probably WooCommerce has been used to create the catalogues?
If so, what’s the best way to get things going again; just download and install WooCommerce again?
October 3, 2017 at 4:31 pm #859683Well, I just did some searching at the internet, and I get the feeling that WooCommerce has been used to register all items which are on the menu. So I just created a backup, and now gonna try to install WooCommerce again…
However, I’m not sure if I’m going to miss some essential information when installing a clean version of WooCommerce, with empty tables obviously.
So if someone can still answer my question, that would be nice ;-)
October 3, 2017 at 4:40 pm #859686Hmm, bad luck…
Indeed, I can see that some food items have been registered through WooCommerce (only 8 though?).
However, I still can’t edit the catalogue lists at the menu page; they’re just empty…Don’t have any idea how this is supposed to work…
Really think I have screwed things up when removing WooCommerce after importing the Restaurant demo…
My word, what should I do?
Start all over again? Use another way to organize the menus? Something else…October 3, 2017 at 4:47 pm #859689Well, I’m going to start from scratch again, so forget about the admin account etc, it won’t work anymore…
October 3, 2017 at 6:47 pm #859736Really, really don’t get it…
Did a clean WordPress install, downloaded and activated Enfold (including child theme), imported the restaurant demo, went to the page with the menus, tried to edit the catalogue elements, but nothing to see…
No WooCommerce or whatsoever…
How can I edit existing catalog items, and add new ones?!?
October 3, 2017 at 7:06 pm #859746Hmm, seems to be a php version issue. Like mentioned here:
I changed php back from 7.1 to 7.0 and the catalogue items are editable again.
My word, starting from scratch all for nothing…
Bugger!
October 4, 2017 at 8:46 am #860017Hey!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Please post the login details and the PHP version. Can you see the same error from the other thread?
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 4, 2017 at 9:33 am #860048Hi Ismael, thnx for the reply, appreciated!
I started from scratch, and now develop in php 7.0 and don’t have errors so far. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to switch back to 7.1 and start debugging, since the website is an assignment that has to be completed urgently…
Besides, I don’t see the error in the other thread… Haven’t seen any errors in my environment, just empty catalogues (while the frontend of the imported Restaurant demo shows the menus just fine).
