    I am hesitant to use a portfolio and portfolio items because of the possibility of changing the theme in the future. What happens to everything that I create using Enfold that is a portfolio item, if I then change to a theme that doesn’t use a portfolio?

    How would another theme access all of these items?

    Hey esemmel,
    You would need to create a custom post type, adding portfolio items to the theme or use a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/portfolio-post-type/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/types/
