I love the Enfold theme.
Except for: Logo management and layout is absolutely maddening. I never ever get the results I want no matter what options I chose. Enfold’s logo management has a mind of its own!
I tried a centered logo layout. I have an png file for the logo that is 949×93 that I installed. The logo options are:
Logo Centered, Menu below
Header size: Large
Display title and breadcrumbs
Unchecked Sticky Header and Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window. The result: Huge gap between the logo and the menu bar below it.
Why does it do this? To me it’s a bug. How do I fix it? Thanks!

Please go to Enfold theme options > Header > Header Size and set it Custom Pixel value and then choose to display around 100px
Best regards,
YigitOctober 15, 2014 at 1:08 am #335839I’ve tried that. Huge gap still exists.

But here’s the thing… the logo size is 949×93. So it appears even smaller than before. And the bottom padding is still taller than the top padding. Where is the bottom padding coming from? And shouldn’t there be a way to preserve the logo actual size (and resize only when responsive for mobile or tablet is need)? Thank you for your assistance.
October 15, 2014 at 11:06 pm #336435Any way to control the bottom and top padding so I can center the logo?
October 16, 2014 at 4:30 am #336519I love you guys at Kriesi… Always appreciate the help, but I guess this issue is a lost cause.
Have you considered how many logo questions are on this forum? The questions crop up often here. So you could probably put this to rest and get some relief by fixing logo management in Enfold.
Please revamp the way logos work in Enfold. No other premium theme I’ve worked with misbehaves as unpredictably as logos in Enfold.
It’s maddening to deal with. I implore you to give this consideration.
Whew! Glad to get that off my chest. You guys do rock and I appreciate the help I get here and love the theme. Did I mention except for the way it handles logos? :)
October 17, 2014 at 7:08 am #337188Hi!
Thank you for using Enfold.
The logo on the theme can be easily modified using css if you you’re not satisfied with the default logo settings. If you noticed, beside the logo uploader, we added a simple note:
Logo Dimension: 340px * 156px (if your logo is larger you might need to modify style.css to align it perfectly)
I’ll ask Kriesi to comment on this thread.
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 17, 2014 at 3:48 pm #337392Ismael, yes I’ve noticed that. However, 340 x 156px is just not suitable for a lot of situations. Modifying the CSS is not obvious. It’s easy to say “modify CSS” but harder to do in practice. I realize I’m trying to push Enfold into the WP equivalent of Squarespace – which probably wasn’t your intention :)
Anyhow, any attention that can be given to make this easier on us would be greatly appreciated. My guess is that the load on tech support would go down a bit and I know you guys could use that :)
Thanks again for your awesome support and an awesome theme.
