Because of your excellent support in the past, I have purchased multiple Enfold licenses for my own sites and those of family members. I also help out with a few other sites for friends who purchased Enfold based on my recommendation. A few questions:

    1. On TF, the only support option is the US $41+ to renew for 6 months. However, if I buy a brand new Enfold license, I can get it for $59 and add an extra 6 months (1 year total support) for only $17, which costs less ($76 vs ~$83). Others seem to be reporting similar offers. Why not do a one-year support option for maybe $60?

    2. Do I have to buy a separate support license for EACH and EVERY copy of Enfold I’m using or with which I’m helping? On average, I’m asking less than one question per installation in any given year.

    3. Is there a free user-run forum somewhere? Something that doesn’t include official Kriesi support? It shouldn’t violate any TF terms since Kriesi staff aren’t offering the support. It might be a good alternative for those of us with simple questions or issues that could be answered by other users.

Closing note… It seems anti-competitive (and possibly illegal in some states or countries) for TF to prevent theme authors from offering free or discounted support.

    Hi Andrejs,

Thanks for reaching out to us, and for using Enfold.

    1. We don’t decide the support pricing unfortunately, Themeforest/Envato are setting the prices.

    2. No, as long as you have a valid support period for one license, then you can access the support forum.

    3. There is a support group on Facebook, which is not run by us: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WordpressEnfold

I’m not aware of any legal problems in regards to not being able to provide free support, but that is a requirement we have been given by Envato.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
