I am not sure if this is an Enfold driven thing or a WooCommerce problem. However, we are experiencing some weirdness when trying to display grid format product thumbnails. The display either creates complete white space gaps in a grid row (where a product should populate) and/or it will force the product on the last position of the page grid to another page instead of populate the bottom corner.
Very weird behaviour. Sometimes, there may be only 3 or 4 products in a category and it will display 1 on a grid row and create another 1 or 2 pages for the other products. Our developer has done mod’s to the theme, so apologies if it related to that as opposed to standard WooCommerce/Enfold functionality. I was just wanting to see if anyone else out there in Enfold land had experienced a similar issue?

Other Details in Private Content:November 20, 2016 at 4:40 pm #714533Hey craigriches,
Can you try to deactivate all plugins except for woocommerce, if this still is problematic try to re-install woocommerce. Let us know if it fixes the issue.
Best regards,
NikkoNovember 20, 2016 at 4:43 pm #714539I can see this is something I will have to ask a developer to do, as I am not confident in doing so, (or know how to, to be honest) If I have to re-install WooCommerce, dont I lose all my data, products, categories etc?
You didnt mention about 2 templates being out of date, so i am not sure if you actually looked in the backend at all.November 22, 2016 at 5:47 pm #715463Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
Best regards,
AndyNovember 22, 2016 at 6:38 pm #715499Hi Andy, it depends when you took a look at the site.
This situation in the thumbnail layout has presented itself with the plugin de-activated and activated, so i can probably say in my limited knowledge that it is not related.
I personally think it may be due to the fact that 3 of the Woocommerce templates are in need of updating, or the code our Developer wrote for those pages is corrupting the page layout. It certainly looks like it is related to product categories, and particularly when there are more than one page of products.Compare this

November 22, 2016 at 7:03 pm #715509Hey!
Sorry I forgot to mention before that the CMS login doesn’t work, just to make sure that we are looking at the same problem, is this the white space gap that you are mentioning: http://imgur.com/a/CwaPf ? I found this code in app.css in this folder (deliciousfinefoods/css/):
.products .product{clear:none !important}
Please remove it and let us know if this fixes the issue.Cheers!
NikkoNovember 22, 2016 at 7:52 pm #715525Hey Nikko,
My apologies, we migrated the latest version of this site from the developers server and the CMS login was different.
It is now correct so you would be able to login with the given credentials.
I will attempt to remove the code as advised to see if it has any effect.
Are you sure this white space issue is related to that and not the out of date WooCommerce templates?November 23, 2016 at 1:44 pm #715913Hi,
simply deactivating your caching plugin is not sufficient. You need to switch off your caching function first, then deactivate the whole plugin, as well as all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

AndyNovember 23, 2016 at 2:42 pm #715959Andy, as far as I know, the website was created by our Developer and had W3 Total Cache deactivated all the time. The problem (I presume would have been checked by them in following your suggestion at the time it first occurred) it had no effect to the outcome. Deactivating all plugins is not an option as certain ones are essential to the proper functioning of the website, as code will rely upon the presence of them to correctly render the thumbnails (I presume).
On the ‘live’ site you viewed, you will see that WP Super Cache has been installed and activated (but only recently). The Enfold recommended W3 Total Cache does not play well with our Host’s server set up apparently, so they recommend WP Super Cache. A re-install of the full site was made a couple of days ago. The re-install was made WITHOUT a cache plugin active or present. The problem was still present. WP Super Cache was installed yesterday and the problem still remains. But, I think it is to do with the code related to the category selector bar above the product thumbnails and how it selects and pulls in the products and categories to display – created by our Developer (who has now washed their hands of us, and refuses to carry on working on it).
I know you guys don’t offer support on customised sites, so I can see i am going to have to get someone from Codeable involved.
I removed the line of code from app.css, as advised by Nikko (reply #715509), and this has cured part of the problem with the white gaps where thumbnails should show in the grid. Yay! But now I am still left with the odd behaviour of the bottom right corner thumbnail not being populated and thumbnail content being pushed onto a second or third page.November 23, 2016 at 2:47 pm #715964Hey Nikko, I removed the line of code from app.css, as advised by you (reply #715509), and this has cured part of the problem with the white gaps where thumbnails should show in the grid. This I think may be due to either the WooCommerce templates or the custom selector above the product thumbnail pages not functioning correctly.
I know you guys don’t support Customised Sites. So I think it is time to get someone from Codeable involved or another Freelancer who knows Woocommerce and Enfold very well.November 25, 2016 at 12:28 pm #716787Hi,
to be honest I still don’t have a clear sense of what the issue is about. I think screenshots and a mockup showing what you want to achieve would help a lot.
However, as you say we can’t help with customizing your website. So here you can find someone from codeable: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

AndyNovember 25, 2016 at 12:28 pm #716788Hey!
Thanks for providing the login and sorry for the delayed response. I have checked the 3 files that are outdated but I don’t think it’s causing the issue. I am a bit curious if the white gaps you are referring are the ones I have marked in red in this screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/Pg0Aw
If yes, then the white gaps is caused by the product images (example of the image is in the private content below) you should see the image itself has white spaces left and right.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 25, 2016 at 3:37 pm #716893Hi Nikko
The white gaps you indicated in your image were not what I was referring to.I was referring to the fact that the thumbnail grids, when full on one page would not populate the bottom right-hand corner location and push content onto a new page for just one thumbnail. This should be present on the previous page as there is white space there for it to go.
I have given marked up images and page links in the private content for you to see what I mean.
November 25, 2016 at 8:05 pm #717037Hi,
does this happen with a different (default) WordPress theme as well? please let us know about your results.
Best regards,
AndyNovember 25, 2016 at 8:19 pm #717045Hi!
Thanks for providing the screenshot :) This should be fixed now, it’s not gaps the products per page is only set to 15, I have changed it to 16. You can see it by going to Woocommerce > Settings > Products (tab) > Display (tab) > Product Count (at the bottom).
Cheers!
NikkoNovember 25, 2016 at 9:00 pm #717087Hi Andy,
I am suffering confusion over your suggestion of using a “default” WordPress theme?? Luckily I had a copy version locally on my machine, so tried what you suggested, but of course, selecting a “default” WordPress theme was useless. The whole website is built using Enfold as a theme, so selecting a different theme and expecting it to render correctly was a bit pointless.
However, what was more worrying was that when returning to my Enfold Child theme, the thumbnails in the Woocommerce pages display were twice as big compared to what they were before I changed the theme to a default alternative.
See the image link in Private Content comparing left side (my now enlarged thumbnail version on my local version) with right side (the correct size thumbnails on the live site)
>:(November 25, 2016 at 9:04 pm #717092Hi Nikko
Unbelievable that it was something so simple!! God knows why they (the developer) would change it to 15 as opposed to 16??
They refuse to speak to us anymore having vowed NEVER to take on a project which requires the use of Enfold or customisation of that Theme.
:(Thank you so much for your help. Now I just need to fix the product category selector malfunction on those pages, but that is a job for a developer at codeable.
Regards
Craig
