Tagged: content width, update
Hi guys,
I’ve just completed the upgrade to version 3.0.4, and now the content width of my website has completely changed.
I previously had it set to the widest version offered in the theme settings, yet now it’s much narrower. And I no longer see the size setting. All I see now is a field where I need to enter a width in pixels and choose a percentage for content to sidebar ratio.
I have no idea what these sizes were previously and I want it back to the exact same dimensions and ratio I had before the update.
How can I get it back and why have the size settings been changed?
Thanks.
Brendon
Hey Brendon!
The widest option offered back in 2.9.x was 1310px, try changing the layout setting to that.
Best regards,
Josue
Hi Josue,
Thanks for getting back to me. This is very strange though, because it is still set at 1310px. So something else must be causing it. You can see an example of the narrower content here:

And here’s a screenshot of the settings:

I even tried resaving the settings, but that didn’t help.
Hi,
Can you please create us a WordPress administrator account? post it here as a private reply.

Hey!
It seems to be the caching plugin you have on your site, try purging it to see the changes.

Ok, so I’ve managed to narrow the issue down to the minify portion of the W3 Total Cache plugin.
By disabling minify and then re-enabling it, it seems to have solved the problem.
So for now, all is good, but I’ll update this thread if there are any other issues.
Thank you for your help with this Josue.

Ha, we must have both realized that at the same time… LOL
Thanks bud.
Hehe, you are welcome, glad to help :)
