Hello!
I´m about to build a page for an international group and have some questions.Will the site be slower regarding to about 200-300 different product pages per country? (3 countries. Some of the products are identical and just need a translation, but there are some varities of the products, so lets say about 500 just to state a number).
I´ve seen the WPML plugin does a translation, and I saw that it was possible to adress the translation to a different domain, which is important in this case. But how will the infastructure on the site look like? So you just suddenly bumps from one language to another.
Also we thinks about showing the products through woocommerce, do you know if it possible to instead of having paying, after you´ve added the products we want the visitor to “check out” by clicking a button says “Send inquiry”. From there they will be contacted by the salesteam.
Also to you find any difficulties regarding to use this theme for a site about that size? Please let me know

The performance of the site will actually depend on the current hosting plan, the theme is a factor but it all comes down to the server capacity and bandwidth, not to mention added plugins like WPML, modules and media files etc., so there’s a lot of things to consider. It’s probably best to consult your hosting provider’s administrators. If you’re on a shared hosting, it is important that you upgrade to a dedicated server plan which offers optimal bandwidth which can handle heavy traffic if you’re expecting such.
There are available plugins that enables you to add an email form inside the product page. You can try the following:
