    Hi,
    I use a SSL certificate and run our website with https.
    The website became slow with https using enfold theme.
    It loads in about 2 minutes – instead of 2 seconds with http.
    If I use Twenty Seventeen theme it becomes fast again.
    What can I do?

    Hello,
    I got the reason but no clue to solve it:
    The website tries to load:
    https://www.mydomain.destyle.css/?ver=4.9.6
    (See thet there is nothing between .de and style.css?)
    https://www.mydomain.defilename.js/?ver=4.9.6
    (See thet there is nothing between .de and filename.js?)
    Both take 16 sec. to exit…

    Ok,

    I solved it myself, it was an error in the functions.php of my child theme.
