There are very long waiting times for the server to respond as you can see in the test in private, indicated in yellow. Please try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can tell you why that is.

RikardI contacted the host (media temple). They installed a fresh WordPress install on a test subdomain on my server and you can see the results below.

Thanks for the update. I got a 403 error on the URL you are testing with, so I couldn’t verify what you are claiming. There’s nothing in the theme which would cause a server to have such long waiting times, so if you need further help then please let us know what you need adjusted.
As a reference you could check our own site: https://tools.pingdom.com/#5d7d2ddccf800000. The server response time is on average 20-30 milliseconds, and on your site it’s 2.6 seconds for the initial response.
