Hello! I’ve had a few staff tell me they’ve experienced our website not loading properly when you first type in the URL and land on the homepage. It has the website main menu expanded and no formatting at all. It seems to only be happening on Safari. I thought it was just that they user needed to cache everything but since it’s the 3rd time I’m hearing it, I thought I’d see if anything else may be the cause. I don’t have trouble on my personal iPhone, PC or Samsung devices using Safari or Chrome. Here’s a screenshot of what they told me it looks like (in private content) and what it should be. I can’t see any errors on my end. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the link and screenshot, though I couldn’t reproduce the error on my end using Safari 11.1.2 on OSX. Are you using any caching or minification plugins? If so then please try deactivating them, also please try deactivating file compression and generate new files under Enfold->Performance.

Yes, we use W3 Total Cache. Our Enfold>Performance file compression was deactivated already.
I tried viewing the website again today on a few of our employees iPhones using Safari and same problem occurred again. Should I deactivate W3 Total Cache indefinitely or just temporarily? Will that slow down performance/page load speed? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the update, so it’s only happening on iPhone on Safari? I checked it desktop on OSX. I think you should at least delete the cache and disable your caching plugins until you get this resolved.

RikardOctober 5, 2018 at 4:54 pm #1018304Yes exactly. I actually told them to clear cache and cookies/web data on their phones and that seemed to fix it, along with deactivating our file compression under performance settings.
