    I’ve had a website in use for 18 months based on the enfold theme.

    Today it crashed and users are saying that it is a page of characters. Here is a piece of it

    However I can access it just fine on my Laptop ( Windows 10 , Chrome) which is the machine where I do all the configuration stuff.Same machine with Edge browser no luck.

    I can also access WP just fine too. I can activate and deactivate plugins, change text etc as I would normally do.

    Please help ?

    As a follow up I have just upgraded to version 4.0.4 and no improvement.

    Yeah I managed to fix it last night.

    I switched off all the plugins and removed Enfold from the server and got it working with new theme.
    I then put enfold back and it ran again. However when i reactivated the plugins it crashed again. I found by trial and error that the W3 cache was the cause. So I’m now running it without this plugin.

    Unfortunately the site now loads very very slowly – at least its back but not ideal so any thoughts on this would be appreciated….

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the feedback, glad you got it working. Maybe you can try different settings in your caching plugin or try another one?
