Hi
We are currently using the Enfold theme and one of our clients websites is completely down. It just says, “This page isn’t working
is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500”I tried updating all the plugins to see if that helped but did not. I’m thinking it’s an issue with the Enfold Theme. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank you!
April 13, 2018 at 5:07 pm #941601That happened to me as well after updating Enfold today from my WP dashboard. Now I can’t even access the wp-admin page.
April 13, 2018 at 5:09 pm #941604That’s strange. I can access the wp-admin page, it’s just when I go to view the actual website I get a 500 ERROR.
April 13, 2018 at 5:39 pm #941618Hey!
Sorry for the inconvenience! Issue occurs on servers running PHP versions older than 5.6. You can either upgrade your PHP version to minimum 5.6 and preferably to 7.x or replace /wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php file with this one – https://www.dropbox.com/s/r389b5x4ippscyn/header.php?dl=0 to bring up backwards compatibility with older PHP versions.
If that does not help, please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it

It works but we would need FTP logins to be able to debug the issue. Could you please post them as well? :)
Best regards,

Can I ask a few questions, have you ever used FTP before (Filezilla), do you know your FTP address, user name and password?
How about your webhost’s cPanel or dashboard?
It should have a “file manager” there.
What webhost do you use?Best regards,

The website is now back up and running but all the problems started after an update of WordPress and then Enfold 4.6.2 – some elements of the site are missing now such as the sliders, icon list and one of the footer widgets. The server runs php 5.2 – 7.2, so can’t be that http://touchstonetraffic.com

Sorry none of those worked, perhaps include your godaddy login, cPanel.
I also noticed that we don’t have a admin login for you site, and since we are not familiar with your site, I’m unsure what is wrong with your elements. Please explain with screenshots if possible.Best regards,

Thank you for the site login, but I was unable to get into godaddy. This is strange, I never had such trouble. Is your godaddy login saved in your browser, or do you type it in each time?
Please see screenshot in Private Content area.
If it is saved, and you use Chrome, please check the passwords using this tip: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/manage-view-saved-passwords-chromeBest regards,
