Hi there!
I developed the full website at a subdomain, but once the hosting provider (hostgator) moved it to the main live domain, whenever making changes to content via wordpress or to the ‘custom.css’ file, none of the changes show up.. I’ve tested this by completely renaming ‘custom.css’ or removing the file all together, or making some dramatic css changes, or switching themes and still it doesn’t respond to my changes. I’ve cleared my browser caches, tried a few different browsers, different computers .. still no luck. I am at a loss!
Can you please guide me to figure out how to solve this problem, I’d really appreciate it
Thanks!

Thank you for using Enfold.
You’re using an old version of the theme. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
In order to transfer the theme and leave the database intact, please use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
Refer to this link for more info on how to properly migrate your enfold website from production to development vice versa:

IsmaelOctober 1, 2014 at 5:50 pm #328338Hi there and thanks for the reply. Actually I purchased the latest version a few days ago and manually updated the theme via FTP since I had previously modified some files including:
Header.php
Layout.css
Custom.cssI manually updated the following files with the latest theme:
updated theme files:
– folder config-bbpress
– folder config-templatebuilder
– folder js
– folder framework
– folder css (except custom.css and layout.css)
– template-archives.php
– functions-enfold.phpSo are you saying that I still need to update other files? Also why would even an old version of the theme cause caching problems?
Thanks!!

Yes, you still need to update. Your current Enfold version is 2.7 and you need to have version 3.0. If you customized some theme files you need to make a backup of the old files, then upload the new ones and then customize the updated files. Please make sure to backup your files.
