Thank you for using Enfold.
Those files contain scripts that runs the Advance Layout Builder and other backend options. I’m not sure how it will affect the site’s google ranks.
Cheers!
IsmaelFebruary 14, 2015 at 11:54 am #396135well, i am not sure- or better i don’t even know- because i am not an expert… but you are… and i bought this theme from you which comes with support- so i really would appreciate a little more than putting a question mark above google analysis- i quote:
Google systems have tested 254 pages from your site and found that 20% of them have critical mobile usability errors. The errors on these 51 pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users.
20% critical errors is not what i really like to have, especially when it seems to come down to the theme itself. I am not happy with this, because- and thats very important now- my business is all about that website and its 45% smartphone users.
How about some help here?!
the google webmaster tool shows some more information as i was able to display. i think it would make sense to at least look at it.
February 16, 2015 at 5:35 pm #396845Hi!
Can you copy and paste the exact errors your getting?
1. For the viewport issue we include that meta tag on line 35 in the header.php file.
if( strpos($responsive, 'responsive') !== false ) echo '<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1">';
2. See here, https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/UseLegibleFontSizes. You’ll probably need to change the CSS around quite a bit to satisfy Google. Honestly they are being kind of anal about this so I wouldn’t care about it too much as long as your satisfied with how it looks on your device. You cannot always trust online testing tools, it’s a program and programs have bugs.
3. Touch elements too close – this is the same thing. It’s way too vague of a description to figure out what to do. You could spend a couple of days playing around with your margins to try and satisfy Google. If it really matters then you’ll want to hire a Google mobile expert for this.
4. Content not sized to viewport – This is probably referring to our shopping cart dropdown which we use CSS to hide on the ride side of the page. Google probably thinks this is causing a horizontal scroll bar but we have overflow set to hidden so it displays nicely for mobile users. If you want to remove the shopping cart dropdown then we can try that.

February 18, 2015 at 9:47 am #397991Now we’re talking- THX
1. OK, i need some guideline to get point 1 done.
2. I also would need a bunch of help in regard CSS adjustments Elljott.
3. I see
4. i didn’t even know there is a shopping cart dropdown, so let’s try to fix that.
error messages:
Configure the viewport
Your page does not have a viewport specified. This causes mobile devices to render your page as it would appear on a desktop browser, scaling it down to fit on a mobile screen. Configure a viewport to allow your page to render properly on all devices.Size tap targets appropriately
Some of the links/buttons on your webpage may be too small for a user to easily tap on a touchscreen. Consider making these tap targets larger to provide a better user experience. The following tap targets are close to other nearby tap targets and may need additional spacing around them. The tap target Parent Directory and 1 others are close to other tap targets see screenshot.Use legible font sizes
The following text on your page renders in a way that may be difficult for some of your visitors to read. Use legible font sizes to provide a better user experience. The following text fragments have a small font size. Increase the font size to make them more legible.
avia_gallery_mode.css and 1 others render only 5 pixels tall (16 CSS pixels) see screenshot.

February 19, 2015 at 5:23 pm #399051Hi!
1. We already include the meta viewport tag so I’m not sure what to tell you here.
2. Can you paste the exact errors your getting?
4. Try adding this to your custom CSS.
.cart_dropdown { left: auto !important; right: auto !important; display: none !important; visibility: hidden !important; }

ElliottMarch 7, 2015 at 6:37 pm #407527thx elliott
i thought i posted those error messages in my previous message. i strongly suggest you have a look in my webmaster tool yourself so we can move actively forward with this. i am more than glad to give you access to it.
i pasted the css code now. i don’t see any change, but i guess this goes right up to smartphone users. i don’t have one, so if you don’t mind just go and see yourself http://www.superbike-coach.com
i’ve seen it yesterday on someone elses smart phone, and the landing page looks messed up:
– those links in the upper right really look bad. there is no way that someone finds ‘My Bookings’ again. You need to see it yourself elliott.
– some pictures overlapping at some pointMarch 9, 2015 at 5:39 pm #408284Hey!
It looks fine on my end. The only problem I see is that the menu is running into your logo on screen sizes between 760 – 960 width but you can fix that with this CSS.
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 959px) { nav.main_menu { display: none !important; } #advanced_menu_toggle { display: block !important; } }
Best regards,

March 10, 2015 at 8:11 pm #409049Hi!
I don’t see anymore issues. The google mobile test seems to be working fine now also, https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/?url=superbike-coach.com.
