    Hi Guys,
I am trying to paste an Webinargeek embed code in a HTML element. When I save it in the page it shows up as an empty div. I tried the code with a different theme and that works fine.
What is happening and how do I fix it?

    Hey lisettetol,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Which page and which element should we be looking at?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi lisettetol,

I’m not sure why that is happening, could you try to add the code using a function in functions.php instead please? Please try the code I pasted in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for your reply, one question: Where in the page will the form show up if I paste this in functions.php?

    Hi lisettetol,

You should find it inside the head tag.
You can just right click on the site then select view source, then find (ctrl + f) and find the script and you should see it easily :)

    Best regards,

I am not sure this answers my question Niko.

It’s a form. And it needs to be in a specific position on the website.
If I paste it in the functions.php and it shows up in the header, that’s not where I want it.
Don’t I need to create a shortcode of some kind to display the form?

    Hi lisettetol,

You might want to use a code block element, add it to the page and add the code there.

I worked it out, inside my caching plugin the javascript compression was blocking the code.
    It’s working now.
    Thanks for helping me along
