    The WP plugin “Shield” from iControlWP sent me an email about the security of my site (I use enfold):

    “Unrecognised File Scanner Results
    1 file(s) were discovered that you need to review.
    wp-admin/php_errorlog    ”

    then he asks me to choose whether to try to delete this file or if I consider it safe. I do not know what to do.
    Can it be an attempt by a hacker to access the site? or worse still a suspicious file already installed?

    Hey Raffaele,
    This is a server error log and is created automatically when errors occur. You can delete it, but you may find it useful one day if you or your webhost is trying to track down errors.
