    Hi there,

    We have had a couple of websites now that have several links that lead to an outside website that downloads spam to the computer. I have reached out to our Host, WP Engine, and while their team has been able to “clean up” the websites, they are saying that the underlying issue is within the theme. This is a major concern as all of the websites we build use Enfold on the WP Engine hosting platform. Please help!

    Hey vantagepointmg,

    We haven’t had any reports of other users having that problem with the version you are running, it’s likely a local problem to your site.

    When WPEngine is saying that the underlying problem is the theme, what part exactly did they say was causing this? It would be very interesting for us to know.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, though all those database tables look to be default WordPress. How exactly is this related to Enfold?
