I am having problems with the avia layout builder for a current site I’m building http://www.farias.mediajunction.ca/

I am unable to add elements – using the usual drag and drop method. I can add the element but it isn’t saving. Is this a problem with the most recent wordpress update? I am using a child theme provided by SevenSparks the authors of UberMenu, but it is based on the latest version of Enfold.

I flushed the browser but I’m still unable to add new elements to existing pages and save them. I also checked out the site on another device and the same problem existed. I’ve included login information in the private data.

    Hi!

Which browser are you using? Are you using any add-ons on your browser? I checked your website and i am able to drag and drop elements to your content, save your content and view those elements on your page and then edit page and remove them.

    Hi Yigit

You were right. It’s a chrome browser issue. Not exactly sure why it now isn’t working. I was able to make changes with Firefox. Thanks for your help.

You are welcome Nick. Please try disabling all your add-ons and try flushing cache once again. I checked your website on Chrome it worked fine :)

I have the same problem with Ubermenu not showing submenus and images.

    The site is taylortrain.com
I’ve followed your instructions to remove extensions and clear the cache several times to no avail.

This menu has been broken for a couple of years, since the client went to another vendor and new is back. I’m unable to fix the Ubermenu after working on it for 8 hours yesterday. I removed the original menu and build a brand new one, to no avail.

My php appears to be calling up Avia and i wonder if this is the problem. I have also followed the instructions regarding Enfold/Ubermenu integration. No luck. Can you please help?

    Hi @cloeffler,

    Thanks for contacting us!

It seems like you have modified helper-main-menu.php file on your child theme and that could be causing the issue. Could you please temporarily switch to Enfold parent theme and check if that helps?

If it does, please copy a fresh helper-main-menu.php file from Enfold parent theme, re-apply your modifications on the file and replace it on your child theme :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit!
    Thanks for the quick response!
I did temporarily switch to Enfold parent theme and you are right! The full menu was there. However, when I replaced the child helper-main-menu.php file with the fresh parent helper-main-menu.php file, I still had the same issue.

    What now??
thanks for your help on this!

    Hi,

You have two helper-main-menu.php files, one directly inside your child theme and other one is inside /includes/ folder.

What changes have you made on the file?

    Best regards,
    Yigit
