Visual Editor not allowing text input

As of either the update to WordPress (4.7.4) and/or Enfold (4.0.5), the visual editor field is no longer accepting text input.

Text can be input in plain format, however, even when operating through the Advanced Layout Editor, any text input via visual editor is not working.

I reinstalled Enfold and that did not fix the underlying problem.
