    Not sure what’s happened, but using the Advanced Editor the visual editor buttons are missing. I only have the “Add Media” button, plus the text in the text field is showing up as white, so I can’t see the text! I turned off all the plug-ins and that didn’t solve anything. I updated WordPress to 3.9, still nothing so I’m clueless as to how to fix this.

    I have had this happen to me a bunch of times on various pages. If I published or updated the page I was working on when the visual editor buttons disappeared, they usually came back. Maybe this would work for you?

    The same thing has happened to me. I had built the site using the visual editor and now all of a sudden, it’s not working. I’m using Enfold version 2.6.2 and WP 3.9. I need this to work so that I can turn the site over to the site owner as one of the reasons I use enfold is because it’s easy for people unfamiliar with html and css to use. Please advise. Thanks.

    I thought I had the latest update (April 16th) and I just noticed there was a new one (April 20th) . I just uploaded the latest version 2.7 and now all is back …whew!

    Thanks, Snerp! I also thought I had the latest update installed from the same date. I didn’t catch or get the email that there was a newer one. After seeing your comment, I downloaded, uploaded, retried, and all is well.
