    Hi,
    first of all I have to say that i love the Enfold Theme – congratulations!
    I have a 14Mb Video hosted at Vimeo running as background in a color section, here are my questions:

    1.)
    Sometimes when I go to the website: http://www.imbju.com the video doesn’t start playing automatically, only after refreshing the page. How can this be fixed?

    2.)
    Does it make a difference with regards to loading speed if a video is a) in a color section b) in a slider c) hosted on the same server?

    Hi Christian,

    1. Since it’s a large video it might not start playing straight away, it could be caching issues as well so please try clearing your browser cache. It started playing after maybe 2-3 seconds on my end so I couldn’t see any problem.

    2. It shouldn’t matter what element you use to display the video but I think hosting it with either Vimeo or Youtube should improve speed as opposed to hosting it on your own server.

    Hi Rikard,
    thank you very much for your quick reply. The video is hosted at Vimeo. Some folks who tried to visit the website told me 2 other things:
    1. ) The video only worked after accepting cookies?
    2.) The video freezes (even if the browser cache was emptied).

    Any ideas around this one?

    On another note:
    3.) Is still status quo that parallax effects don’t show up on IOS mobile devices?

    Hi,

    1. The video starts immediately on my end, no need to accept anything.

    2. It’s very difficult for us to verify any issues coming from third parties, but it doesn’t freeze on my end.

    3. I think that is the case unfortunately yes.
