Hi,
I’m experiencing visibility issues with the showing of a vimeo movie. Can you help me out.
Desired result: a video with height: 550 px with aspect ratio 16:9 at desktop, and also shown at mobile (responsive) with minimum height 430px.
Thanx for your response.
Hey vdarend,
Thank you for using Enfold
The video looks fine on my end. And an actual video element is displaying on mobile view. Did you figure this out?
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi vdarend,
As far as I know, auto-play is disabled on apple devices by default, and there can be issues with users having a high data load with videos on mobile as well. So even if there was a solution for mobile, you would have have backup solutions, that is why I wouldn’t recommend you to pursue that.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Did you add a fall back image? Again, videos are disabled on mobile devices by default, including iPads. Also, there’s a new Safari policy that prevents media autoplay without user interaction unless it’s enabled in the browser options.

Hi,
Have you tried using the layer slider? Insert a video/audio layer and then set it as the slide’s background.
