    I have created a website with a video that auto plays on the homepage and added a still for a fallback on mobile devices. When I open my webpage on a mobile device it shows both a video with a play button and the still image and they are almost on top of each other. What should I do so that the video plays on a desktop and ONLY the still image shows on the mobile device?

    Hey Eileen!

    Are you using the latest version of Enfold?

    Also have you tried disabling all of your plugins to see if there is a conflict?

    Dake..I am a complete newbie on this. Can I update Enfold without worrying about loosing anything and how do I disable plugins? I didn’t add any to the theme so not sure where those would be.

    Hey!

    You won’t run the risk of losing settings, especially if you have a child theme.

    Please follow the instruction in this video to update your enfold:

    Alternatively you can click the theme update button in your theme options.

    However the above should only be considered if your enfold version is actually out of date.

    If you provide us with temporary access we can confirm your version # and look into the mobile video issue.

    Be sure to add any credentials to the private content section.

    Ok, I updated theme but sill have same problem. Both the movie file (which does not play) and the still show up. Can you take a look and tell me what the problem might be? Thanks

    I logged out and logged back in using that. Had put the new password in wrong place…can you send more detailed instructions if possible so I don’t have to track down how to do what you’re asking. Sorry, but not as proficient in this. Now I log in and none of my work seems to be there even though the website is functioning. That happened yesterday so no clue what happened. Thanks
