    Happy new year all,

    I have noticed that videos that used to open in lightbox on some older blog articles (and on a new one I’m creating now) no longer open in lightbox, but instead open a new tab on desktop Chrome. I have checked Enfold theme settings and lightbox is still enabled.

    Can you tell me what might be going wrong and how I can fix it?

    Solved: I figured out this is only happening when I’m logged in as an admin. Something about the cookie consent not persisting as every time I load a page I have to click “ok” on the cookie consent banner to dismiss it. Works fine in incognito and when not logged in.

    Any ideas as to why the cookie banner won’t persist when logged in as an admin on chrome?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Looks like the site is restricted to certain countries as we can’t access it. Is this issue only happening in Chrome? Have you tried manually clearing the cookies and then refreshing the page?

    Hi Ismael, I have worked in the past with WP Engine to turn off the geo blocking but I guess it is still there even though they say they removed it. Sorry. Is Mike still a US based mod, maybe he could see it, or you could use VPN to spoof an USA IP address?

    Basically, for users this is not an issue because the site works fine as long as you’re not logged in as admin. As admin it is annoying to have the cookie notice pop up constantly.
