    i’m working on https://dev.lifepointohio.com/2019/11/06/design-request-form-explainer/
This is a page that represents several pages on this site.
None of my embedded videos on the site will play. After looking through the forums, it seems like the cookie settings and other plugins are not affecting anything. I’m not sure what to do.
If possible, i’d like to avoid the cookies since this is a private site only available to internal employees.

these vimeo links are for me a bit uncommon to share on public – i do know the normal form with
    https://vimeo.com/ID
but your links always do have after an “ID” additonal code – where does it come from ? are these videos not listed ? on vimeo
if i go to your “channel” https://vimeo.com/user4435795 these videos aren’t listed.

Did you think of the privacy settings on vimeo? there are settings : “Where can this be embedded?”

    Guenni007 i’m not sure I follow what you’re saying.
The videos you mention are on vimeo, they are just marked “unlisted” so they don’t show up in the vimeo library. However they are viewable with the links. Additionally, these links have been working since they were posted and only recently stopped working.
It may also be worth mentioning that I have dozens of Enfold installs and hundreds of vimeo videos posted on those installs which work…

Prior to posting to the forum, I changed the videos from unlisted to public and still have the same issue.

    What about this video : https://vimeo.com/364134358 from : https://dev.lifepointohio.com/2019/10/06/style-guide-explainer/
    this can not be found

edit: yes i tested your links on a test page of mine: https://webers-web.info/videos/
so they can be embedded. Did you check – if a plugin could be the reason for that?

I just changed that video to public and it still does not load. That is the issue i’m reaching out about. The problem is not with the video or with vimeo.

    Hi,

We are not yet sure why the video is not working but we have found an error in the console, which might be related to the issue.

siteground-optimizer…b7d577fc3f831.js:73 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '!'

Try to disable the siteground optimizer plugin and the file compression settings temporarily, purge the browser history or the cache, then check the page again.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Thanks Ismael, unfortunately, the optimizer plugin is required by my host. With that said, I had no compression settings turned on and i have now (temporarily) deactivated the plugin with no new results. The videos still won’t play.
    What else can i do?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

The error with the site optimizer plugin is now gone but the same error exists in the compressed file. To check if the error exists because of the file compression, we temporarily disabled the Enfold > Performance > File Compressions settings. This seems to have fixed the issue. The video is now working correctly.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
