Hi there. I have a site running WooCommerce and the latest version of Enfold. When I add a youtube.com URL to the product description, the URL isn’t converted into an embedded video. If I change the theme to TwentyFifteen it works fine, though. Any ideas why that is?
Thanks!
Hi Kevin!
Can you please try adding video shortcode instead?
You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.
Best regards,
Yigit
Why would this have to be added via a shortcode? That seems unnecessarily complex given that WordPress natively supports embedding video and audio players just by pasting the URL into the editor.
Hi!
Youtube links works fine on the default and text block editor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0k3kHtyoqc
Anyway, it is advisable to use the shortcode to make it compatible with the whole layout of the theme.
