Hi
I have been managing a website for years. However today the videos on their don’t work…just says “Video unavailable” Please see link in private content for an example.
Please can you let me kow how to fix this?

I also have the same problem, after having it working for over a year. Link is sitting inside of color section on video background area. Tried a different video same issue.
I have now updated to the latest theme.
Videos work when I am logged in.
When I am not logged in they don’t!? In addition icon boxes aren’t working now on the page i provided a link too!?

I’m having the same problem, and I just noticed it today — I hadn’t touched anything, and it’s been working for at least a couple years…

Thanks for the update. I can’t see any problem on my end when logged out, could you try loading the site in an different browser, or an incognito or private tab please? If that doesn’t help, then please let us know how to reproduce the problem.

If you need further help with this, then please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private, so that we can have a closer look at your site. Also please point out where we can see the actual problem on your site.

RikardI”m pretty sure this has to do with a new policy on YouTube, that unlisted videos loaded before 2017 are being converted to “private”, in which case they wouldn’t be able to play. However, I re-uploaded my video yesterday, and even made it public, but still have the problem. I think there may be some caching going on somewhere.

As above I have some same problem with video not playing. I got a Envato Token and integrated it but i see no update button on my Enfold theme.24pfilms – when I updated the theme using the token, it took a few minutes for it to show that there was an update available….refresh and see if one is available in a few minutes :-)

It says I have lates version 4.8.4 but i still have broken video at top of all pages. Hopefully @Rikard can solve it…Thank you Faye,
It says I have latest version 4.8.4 but i still have broken video at top of all pages. Hopefully @Rikard can solve it…I had to do two things to fix it:
1) Re-upload my “unlisted” video that I use as background, and set it to “public”. (Youtube is turning unlisted videos to “private” that were uploaded prior to 2017 I believe. I don’t think I would have had to make my new one public, but I decided to go full strength to solve this. Re-uploading as “unlisted” would probably work too. Or changing the original video to “public”.)
2) Update my Enfold Theme. Unfortunately, the Dashboard in WP didn’t report that an update was available for Enfold. I use a child theme also — not sure if this was a factor. I eventually reinstalled the Theme by downloading the current version then uploading it manually via FTP.
I wish there were an easier way to update Enfold (and maybe there is), but that solved it for me anyway.

Thanks for the login details. You are still running an old version of the theme, so it needs to be updated. I’m not sure why your token is not fetching the update, but you can try to install this plugin to see if that helps: https://envato.com/market-plugin/. Also make sure that you update the PHP version on your server, the minimum recommended version for WordPress is currently 7.4. If you can’t get the update working, then please open a new thread and include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private, so that we can update for you. Also please verify that you have backups of the site.
