Hi
We have integrated various videos (widgets) in the sidebar, which have always run correctly and have now not been loaded for a few days. The problematic update WordPress 5.8 and Enfold 4.8.4 have deliberately not yet been carried out and nothing has been changed.
The link of the page is in the Private Content.
What could be the solution?July 22, 2021 at 9:58 am #1311408Same here, any fix?

Thanks for that. I see the same problem on my end, and I can reproduce the problem on a local installation. I’m not sure if this is theme problem though, since the widget doesn’t display anything when I activate the Twentytwenty-One theme either. Would you be able to verify those results on your end?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 26, 2021 at 11:58 am #1312397Hi Rikard,
Thank you for your answer.
I have not installed the Twentytwenty-One theme and have not changed anything. What do you mean by verify? Should I reinstall the theme and activate it?Bet regards,
BeatJuly 27, 2021 at 1:20 pm #1312739Hi,
I’m asking if you could activate a default WordPress theme, to see what happens then? Are the videos working as they should after that, or is the behaviour the same as when Enfold is active? They did not work on my test site, when I activated TwentyTwenty-One. That is why I’m asking if you could check and verify if you are seeing the same behaviour?

Thanks for the update. I get the same results now on a local installation, it’s working as it should when a default WordPress theme is active. I don’t have a solution for you at the moment unfortunately, but I’ve reported this problem to our developers. Please reply to this thread so that it gets added back to our support queue.

RikardAugust 7, 2021 at 6:05 am #1314959Hey!
We cannot reproduce the issue on version Enfold 4.8.6 and WP 5.8. We used one of the videos in your site for testing. Please check the screenshot below.

Do you have a staging version of the site? We would like to try and disable the plugins temporarily.
Cheers!

@wzshop: We cannot find any video widget in the above demo. Where did you see the issue exactly?
@bsingenberger: Looks like the media element script is disabled. The videos started loading correctly again once we set the Enfold > Performance > Selbst gehostete Video und Audiofunktionen (WP-Mediaelement-Skripte) to the third option.Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 9, 2021 at 9:27 am #1315792Hi Ismael,
Just in the header. However it seems to be working now on my installation / updated version.August 9, 2021 at 9:34 am #1315794Hi Iismael
Thanks for the answer and solution to the problem.
It is interesting that nothing was changed in these parameters and after an update this setting had to be adjusted.
The ticket can be closed.Best regards,

@wdi: You have to update the theme from version 4.1 to 4.8.6. The update should help fix the issue with the video. You may need to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after the update.

IsmaelAugust 12, 2021 at 7:02 am #1316385Hi ,
I had similar issue with both Vimeo and Youtube videos
Enfold > Theme Options > Performance > Javascript file merging and compression
Disable JS compression – Your videos will show
Enable JS Compression – Your videos will not showI have also “Delete old CSS and JS files?” and updated
flushed cache put Cloudflare into development mode.Video will not show with Enfold Enable JS Compression
Wordpress: 5.8
Enfold: 4.8.6.1NOTE! This is also effecting display of some page content images and Post Feature images etc.
August 13, 2021 at 6:31 am #1316536Hi,
@HuxburyQuinn: Thank you for the info. Please try to open a new thread and post the site details in the private field so that we could check the issue further. For the meantime, try to disable the file compression settings and use another plugin such as Autoptimize or BWP. We will close this thread for now.Best regards,
