Hi,
I added a fullscreen slider on this page: http://mx3d.com/projects/bridge/
i also added fallback images for all the videos but when i visit the site on for example an iPhone i can’t click the image and nothing happens. Is this a bug? I am aware of the autoplay restriction on mobiel devices but that isn’t the case here i believe.
Can you see what’s the issue?
Thanks in advance!

I assume that you should be able to click on the fallback image and open the video or am i wrong?
This used to work fine last year.

February 22, 2016 at 3:05 pm #587169Hey!
you are using a caching Plugin, so go into plugin’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Deactivate this and all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

I tried all that but no difference. It doesn’t seem to be a caching problem because a lot of different people are experiencing the same problem even when i deactivate caching. And it’s on mobile devices only not desktops.
It used to work fine until like a few weeks so i don’t know what happened.
Any other idea?

The video is completely disabled on mobile devices. It will just show the fallback image and you can’t click on it to play the video. This is the default behaviour ever since we removed the video slider support on mobile. Workaround is to add an actual video specifically for mobile. You can toggle the display of the elements by using css media queries: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-hide-some-elements-in-mobile-version/#post-362859
Cheers!
